Xtreme Face Painting has been at fall festivals, church carnivals, school fun nights, company picnics, pumpkin-carving parties and more backyard birthdays than I can count. Whatever the event is, my job is the same — keep the line moving and send everybody home looking like a work of art.
I use professional, water-based, FDA-compliant cosmetic paints and cosmetic-grade glitter, never craft paint or acrylic. Brushes and sponges are cleaned between events, and anyone showing signs of a cold sore, pink eye or broken skin gets an arm design instead of a face design. It keeps everybody healthy and nobody has to feel left out.

Before you book
What kind of paint do you use?
Professional water-based, FDA-compliant cosmetic paints and cosmetic-grade glitter, from brands made specifically for skin. Never craft paint, never acrylic, never craft-store glitter near eyes.
My child has sensitive skin or allergies.
Mention it when you book and Robyn will bring the ingredient list for the products she's using that day. A patch test on the inside of the arm the morning of the event is always an option. Latex allergies are worth flagging too — sponges and applicators can be swapped.
How many kids can you get through?
It depends on the design. Full faces take a few minutes each; cheek art moves much faster. Send your headcount and time window and Robyn will tell you straight whether one painter covers it or you'd be better off with two.
How does it come off?
Mild soap and warm water, or a baby wipe for touch-ups. Glitter tattoos are the exception — those last a few days and lift with baby oil or rubbing alcohol.
What do you need from us on the day?
A shaded or indoor spot, room for a small table and two chairs, and a nearby outlet if you've booked anything that needs light. Access to water helps but Robyn brings her own if there isn't any.
Is this just for kids?
Not at all. Halloween character work, festival glitter, bridal parties and corporate mascots are a real part of the calendar — plenty of the designs on the board above were painted on grown-ups.
What happens if it rains?
Paint and humidity get along fine, but downpours don't. If there's no covered option Robyn will work with you to move the time or reschedule.
How far will you travel?
Robyn is based in the Elkhart area and regularly works across Michiana. Longer drives are welcome — the travel is just factored into the quote up front.
